I think the practice of Ashtanga Yoga to build the muscles around my knee, do you think will help.?
I have osteoarthritis knee a few years ago a car accident. But it is very bad right now and cold weather. I think to go on a yoga Ashtanga week do you think this is okay, as long as I care, or could cause more damage? I am trying to strengthen the muscles around the knee area as much as possible?

Can anyone recommend a CD of songs of mantras, with or without response group, meditation or yoga slow
I just started Practice Yoga (Iyengar) and do not listen to music in our classes, but the song for about 5 minutes early. I want to hear (and learn), the slow songs in Sanskrit time where he could meditate or practice yoga slow (downtempo). I researched and found some music (world, electronic, new age), but I prefer something more cutting, ideally, there are no instruments at all. And I actually found some audio of just singing, but sometimes it is fast and the voices are "Twiny" and unrefined (ie not good) and time to relax or inspire me, that really gets on my nerves. Help! Thank you!

bikram yoga teacher training

I am interested in opening a studio of Bikram Yoga. Anyone gone through the process?
I work full time as an advisor Financial. I was a student of Bikram for about 2 years and I am told that I am an ideal candidate for teacher training. I would like to open studio and leave my current job, but there is not much information profitability on until you've trained and engaged in the process. I wonder about anyones experiences.
the market is growing very fast, but to be profitable in a yoga Specific Office would be difficult. you need a broad base of customers to begin by early May to cover costs.

How do I keep things in the world when I want to concentrate on other things (such as prayer, yoga, etc.)?
I always want to concentrate fully in my prayers, etc.. but I can. something or other will come in my mind. so I need some advice on this subject.
Clearing your mind and find its center is called meditation. It takes practice. Start with a minimum time up.

Good Yoga Books or CD?
I will teach a class of Ashtanga Yoga as an option at school, work. Students are beginners. Has anyone seen some very good text books on yoga and anatomy course or all of yoga CD is very good for background music in class? Other suggestions ...
If you are a teacher of Class A Beginner's is a good book (Yoga Manual of the American Association Beginner) Alice Christensen. If you are a more advanced level of yoga is a good book (Power Yoga) by Liz Lark. my favorite music CD is a Yoga Yoga AM Gaiam and comes with a CD of PM, Gaiam is the relaxation Instramental softt company is made solely for yoga has some sweet songs and harp

Ashtanga yoga in which they place pranayama (breathing exercises) before pratyahara (practical sense?
are 8 times yama ashtnaga Yoga, Niyama, asanas, pranayama, pratyahara, dharna, dhyana, smadhi. and why they want KNW pratayahara earlier pranayama. ?
Buddy seems so ur interested the mystery of yoga. u can say something in a book on yoga for pratayahara ashtanaga Charan das mentioned just before pranayama, pranayama before but Patanjali mentions pratayahara BECAUSE so u said you first need to practice breathing exercises and when can u breath control UR so it's easy to practice at High-level sensory practice breathing BECAUSE UR may disturb this practice.

Is it safe to orpilates or online personal yoga training certification?
I am a dance teacher and also as being certified in this area. I saw this online certification expertrating and the rate is very affordable. Would you recommend this site to other sites or institutions credible certifications that provide? Online certifications will be honored abroad? Thank you!
I would not recommend it for Yoga. Although not regulated in the United States and many other countries, the most renowned teachers are trained in schools accredited by the Yoga Alliance. They require a minimum of 200 hours and once moving and becoming a certified yoga teacher, you will be automatically eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance to be called "registered yoga teacher. http://yogaalliance.org/ for staff training, ACE certification is the most famous to receive: As for qualifications http://www.acefitness.org/
